Patent pending magnetic lifting systems
MagLord Systems is a developing Australian product concept created by James Russell, focused on practical magnetic handling tools for field, workshop, and event-technology environments. The designs are not yet in production; this page exists to document the project, protect the intellectual property, and raise awareness while engineering assessment continues.
Current Designs
The current MagLord range is split between the patent-pending primary design and a working prototype used to explore portability, ergonomics, and practical deployment.
Patent Pending
The MagLord Pro is the primary design currently progressing through the patent and engineering pathway. It represents the core product concept and the intended professional-grade direction for the MagLord Systems range.
Prototype
The MagLord Swift is a compact prototype exploring a faster, handheld format. The current prototype uses a Ryobi tool as a base during development, with the intention to move away from that platform in future versions.
Project Status
MagLord Systems is not currently manufacturing, selling, or taking product orders. The purpose of this website is to establish a public presence for the designs, identify the creator and owner of the intellectual property, document development intent, and provide a clear point of contact for legitimate enquiries.
The product concept has been patent pending since 2023. The next step is engineering assessment, refinement, and validation before any manufacturing or commercial release pathway is considered.

About the Founder
MagLord Systems was created by James Russell, an Australian technical specialist with a background in live event, systems, networking, and field-deployment environments. The concept grew from hands-on problem solving and repeated real-world handling challenges where a purpose-built magnetic tool could save time, reduce frustration, and improve safety.
Repeated practical handling challenges highlighted a need for a better, more deliberate magnetic tool.
The idea was engineered into the MagLord Pro concept and later explored in a smaller handheld Swift prototype.
The core concept entered patent pending status in 2023 and is awaiting engineering assessment for the next stage.
